Link accountsOn the Financials Page, you'll see cards for various account types: Bank, Income, Investment, Credit & Loans. Click the "Link Account" button on the respective card for the type of account you want to connect. Use the search bar to find your financial institution, payroll provider, or employer. Enter your login credentials (username and password) for the selected institution. Review the data permissions and select the information you want to share with YourOwn. Authorize the connection to securely link your accounts. Once linked, you'll instantly gain visibility into your account balances and have access to native account statements (if provided by the institution). Your data will be updated automatically, giving you a comprehensive financial overview within YourOwn. For your convenience, you can link multiple accounts of the same type by repeating these steps. Upload documentsIn case your financial institution, payroll provider, or employer does not support automatic account linking, you can manually upload documents. Tax documents always need to be manually uploaded as well. Follow these simple steps: Click on the "Upload" button under a linked account or the "Upload" button under the tax category. Browse and select the relevant document(s) from your device. For each uploaded document, provide a descriptive file name and specify the time period it covers. After uploading, you can view the document details and preview the contents in a separate tab. This process ensures that all your important financial information is securely stored and accessible within YourOwn, regardless of the institution's integration capabilities. If you need to upload multiple documents, simply repeat these steps as necessary. Remember, uploading documents manually is a secure and convenient way to maintain a comprehensive financial profile within your wallet. Create custom income providerIf your payroll provider or employer does not support automatic account linking, you can easily create a custom income account within your wallet. Here's how: Navigate to the Income category and click "Add Custom Income Provider." Enter a descriptive name for your income source (e.g., Company Name, Self-Employment, etc.). Once the custom income account is created, click the "Upload" button to add your paystubs and other relevant income documents. For each uploaded document, provide a clear file name and specify the time period it covers. After uploading, you can view the document details and preview the contents in a separate tab. By following these steps, you'll have a centralized location to manage and track your income, even if your employer or payroll provider does not offer direct integration with YourOwn. Share profileAfter completing your profile, you can easily share it conveniently. Follow these steps: Click on the "Share" option in the left navigation menu. Enter a descriptive name for your profile package (e.g., Rent Application for 123 Main St., Loan Application for Home Purchase, etc.). Add the recipient's email address(es) to specify who you want to share your profile with. Select the relevant categories of data that are required for the specific purpose (e.g., income, assets, liabilities, etc.). Review the summary of your profile package, ensuring that the contents are accurate and complete. Once you're satisfied with the package, click "Download" to securely generate a ZIP file containing your profile information. Attach the downloaded ZIP file to an email and send it to the intended recipient(s). You can also upload the file to any cloud storage provider like Google Drive or Box. By following these steps, you can easily share your comprehensive financial profile with trusted professionals, such as loan officers, property managers, or financial advisors, streamlining various processes and applications.
